I'm Laura
Laura Catherine is an indie fantasy author, specialising in cozy fantasy and YA fantasy with queer representation.
They are a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, an ADHD disaster, and hail from Melbourne, Australia. When they are not writing, Laura can be found raising two beautiful children with their partner, spending time outdoors camping, and snuggled up with their cats on the couch with a good book.

My story
Laura Catherine has been a published author since 2013. Their first book, Djinn, was first brainstormed on Baker's Delight paper bags where they worked at the time.
Since then, they have published 10 books, written many first drafts, and earned a bestseller's title. In 2022, they started a podcast with fellow author and friend, Sarah Gray. They talk about their experiences in writing and give advice to new authors.
They grew up loving stories, telling and writing them. Their cupboard is full of notebooks and bookshelf overflowing.
